You may view up to 6 flightlines at a time. Please
select up to 6 flightlines on the table below and
click on "GENERATE MAP."
IMPORTANT: Increasing the number of flightlines selected
for viewing may also increase the loading time of the map.
This will take you to the viewer that will show you flightlines you
have chosen; points that see here represent the approximate
position of the camera. These points are georeferenced using
flightline diagrams for USGS aerial photographs, actual points
for NOAA and approximate midpoints using a mosaic of the
the USDA photographs. The color of each point correspond
to the legend on the viewer.
For help on navigating the viewer, you can download this file.
Icons on left hand side border allow you to do the following:
Draw a Bounding Box to focus on an area of the islands
After using the Bounding Box icon, click on this one. Then,
click on a point to view the thumbnail image of the aerial
photograph represented by that point.
Move Forward a Step in your view history (works only if you
have moved back a Step)
Move Back to Previous Step.
PLEASE NOTE: Flight lines that cannot be checked off are currently being processed and
coverage denotes the approximate area where the photograph lies within the USGS Quadrangle
of the same name.
