We have, generally speaking, one aerial survey per decade for much of Hawai'i beginning with the early 1950s. Our primary sources include photos issued by the United States Geological Survey (USGS), United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), National Oceanic Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) and the United States Navy.
